After years of working at an old diner in the city, Emery Mason is growing tired of her boring city life. When a strange man visits the diner during her shift, he opens her eyes to a part of life she forgot existed--hopes and dreams. She finds herself wondering what she really wanted out of life. One thing she knew for sure was that she didn’t want to work at the diner for the rest of her life.
It felt like her dreams of a new life were coming true when she inherited an inn from a great aunt she never knew existed. It doesn’t take long for her to learn why her grandmother ran from Candle Creek and never looked back. Did Emery seal her fate when she took over the inn? Will her hopes and dreams of a better life be the death of her?
